So grateful not to be sore and achy from my PT yesterday. I have boxing this afternoon and I am looking forward to getting back to my gym buddies. I have missed them while I was away on holidays. I also need to find a new boxing partner as my daughter who is my regular boxing partner has flown the coop. Now I have to break in a new partner. LOL. Was pleased with my scale weight this morning, bang on 88kg. Progress pics-
photo on the left was in Brisbane around 2009, weighing in at 110kg but probably more. Photo on the right was mid June 2015. Around 88.5kg
Photo on the left is July 7 2014. The day after I decided to change my life. Photo on the right is March 2015. The day I cracked 90kg.
And this is the weekend after the photo above after completing a small triathlon without bloody training for it. I was talked in to on the day it was being held. I was supposed to be helping the Race Director, but she talked me in to competing.
And this is the end of May doing Obstacles Gone Mad in the Whitsundays with my Friends, daughter and her boyfriend. I didn't think a year ago I would be able to do the things I am now doing. Winning!

PT in Bowen this morning with my awesome trainer Kylie. We started a new program and have changed what we were doing before I went on holidays. Pre holidays I was training twice a day, 5 days a week. I had set goals that I thought were achievable, but in hindsight, they were holding me back, hindering my progress. We (Kylie and Brendan) have decided to change our approach to my training. It will be a 3 week program (concentrating on upper body between now and Tough Mudder) Week 1-Easy, Week2-Achieve, Week 3-Over Achieve. This means today the weights were easy, next week it will be weights that I have done before and the week after will be weights that are new. Next week I will endeavour to get some video footage.

Monday, July 13, 2015.
First post on my new blog. I want to share my goals and achievements and hopefully inspire others to set goals and work towards them.
Over the last 12 months I have shed 22kg, going from 110kg down to 88kg. I spent a moment in the 87's and am currently 89.2kg given we have just come home from holidays. I do a PT session in Bowen (which is 1 hour away) every week. I have made the sessions a part of my life and my week doesn't start until Tuesdays when I have my PT. I try and exercise twice a day 5 days a week. It doesn't always happen but I do try.
One year ago I couldn't walk for 10 minutes, today I walked for over 2 hours. Even though it was our coldest day to date for the Winter I enjoyed it.
So goals are as follows-
September-Tough Mudder
October-Bowen Tri
June 2016-Cairns 70.3
June 2017-Challenge Cairns
June 2018-Big Red Run
